Best wishes, 3D MediVision Inc. The 1st Catholic Neurotology Dissection Course will be held on October 27, 2018 in a lab on the 3rd floor of the Catholic Institute of Applied Anatomy in Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital. Neurotology has been a challenging and exciting field for surgeons majoring in otology. The anatomical structure of the temporal bone, in particular, is known to be as complex as its genesis. Proper understanding of the anatomical structure of the temporal bone could positively affect the prognosis of the disease in the operation. Therefore, the practice of temporal bone dissection is a necessary course for otolaryngologists who specialize in otology.
In the lab, 3D MediVision Inc. will provide its own 3D imaging technology to enable participants to watch in 3D full HD so that they can experience the same anatomical stereoscopic depth that surgeons see in practice. The dissection course was designed to address the usual questions of otologists on the diseases of this area, focusing on the external auditory canal tumor and jugular foramen lesion. Through this course, the trainees are expected to play a major role in the treatment of neurotological diseases and cooperation with other departments in the future. Best wishes, 3D MediVision Inc. |
