3D Medi Vision’s development of the full HD 3D camera specialized in surgical microscopes is starting to show prominence in the market. Previously, only the surgeons performing the surgery were able to see in 3D through the microscope. However, since the emerging of 3D Medi Vision’s full HD 3D camera 3DMV1, surgical images can be broadcasted live through the 3D monitor not only in the operating theater for the assistants, but also for unlimited number of people in a different area to view throughout the entire operation.
“3D Medi Vision’s 3D medical camera enables recording long operations and storing footages in manageable file sizes,” Ki Jin Kim, CEO of 3D Medi Vision said. “When developing the product, we had easy reviewing on our mind because we wanted surgeons to view them in 3D regardless of time, place, or the type of 3D device they use." The biggest challenge was to ensure true and clear 3D images with no vignetting in order to increase precision during surgery and teaching surgical techniques. 3D Medi Vision also provides video editing service for surgeons who need to edit the footages to make education material. |
