16th Busan Content Market, "movie for dog", dog conference was held
The video content festival (BIC4Dog) for dogs was held for the first time at the 16th ‘Busan Contents Market (BCM) 2022’ sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Busan Metropolitan City.
It is said that it has discovered a differentiated content field with the concept of ‘a country where dogs are happy, a dog-friendly city of Busan’.
First, the ‘Movie for Dog’ program was held in the square in front of the BEXCO Convention Hall, where you can enjoy video content for dogs. In partnership with Happy Dog TV, a video specially produced for the dog's sight and hearing was broadcast for three days during the event.
At the Movie Po Dog venue, a dedicated booth was set up for guardians and dogs to watch the video together, with a one-person sofa, a low-light stand, a TV, a bowel pad, and a pad dedicated to dogs, so that they can watch the video comfortably with their dogs.
A special wall containing dog characters has also been produced so that citizens can leave "certification shots."
>Hold a conference under the theme of 'Watching dog media'
>Korean Veterinary Medical Association, Sennagae Production Team, etc. Attendance
On the 9th, the second day of the event, a "Pet Dog Conference" related to watching the media of dogs was also held, drawing attention.
Veterinary society officials, including Korean Veterinary Association President Huh Joo-hyung and Busan City Veterinary Association President Lee Young-rak, as well as companion animal behavior correction experts and media researchers, gathered to discuss dog cognition, behavior, and media use behavior.
EBS's <No Bad Dog in the World> producers delivered their own experience in producing programs, and Happy Dog TV, which produces video content specializing in dogs, and 3D Medivision, a medical edutech company that produces 3D veterinary education content, introduced dog-related content.
Busan Contents Market Executive Chairman Kwon Man-woo said, “As the number of pet families who treat their pets like family is rapidly increasing, the companion animal content market is expected to grow rapidly in addition to the existing companion animal-related market". And "The showcase will contribute to the spread of mature companion animal culture.”
Meanwhile, the 16th Busan Contents Market was held for three days from June 8 (Wednesday) to 10 (Friday) under the theme of ‘Your Story is Our Story’.
