Development of disposable epidural catheter for animals WSI(299170), a pharmaceutical and medical device distribution company, will enter the veterinary market in earnest with 3DMEDIVISION, a medical edutech company. WSI announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement with 3D Medivision, which operates the veterinary education platform "Veterflix" to advance into the pet medical field through the development of animal endoscopy. 3D Medivision, which has the largest veterinary online education content in Korea, is solidifying its position in the field of veterinary education by producing and supplying educational content, online and offline combined education, and seminars through Veterflix, an education platform exclusively for veterinarians. WSI is pushing to develop a disposable epidural catheter for animals to expand the scope of use of the disposable epidural catheter product KESS300 to animals, and held a seminar on how to use the model at the Veterflix Global Training Center (VGTC) in Songdo, Incheon on the 29th. "As a result of continuous cooperation with related institutions and researchers to enter the veterinary market, we received a positive response that technology can be applied to the market," a WSI official said. "We will make various efforts to expand the scope of surgery while allowing the product to be applied to animal surgery." Currently, with most animal surgeries performed as open surgery, animal endoscopy is expected to leave only small scars and enable rapid recovery, reduce bleeding during surgery, and significantly reduce exposure to the risk of infection. Meanwhile, VGTC, the Veterflix Global Training Center, offers a variety of training for veterinarians, including Live Surprise, Hands-on Course, Dry-Lab, Wet-Lab, and Seminar. Surgical practice on December 11 and TPLO practice conducted by Professor Kang Byung-jae of Seoul National University on December 18 will follow.
